SECTION 8: PROMOTER REGISTRATION, LICENSING & COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

All event promoters operating under the International Sport Kickboxing Association in Canada must be officially registered and licensed with ISKA Combat Sport Association.
By submitting this application, the applicant acknowledges and agrees to the following:
• All promoters must show proof of current and/or up-to-date officials certification.
• All promoters must show proof of current and/ or up-to-date CRC (Criminal Record Check) for Vulnerable Sector.
• All promoters must show proof of current or up-to-date Basic CPR and First Aid.
• All promoters must register with ISKA Combat Sport Association prior to promoting, organizing, advertising, or hosting any ISKA-sanctioned event in Canada.
• All promoters must pay the applicable ISKA Combat Sport Association Promoter License Fee, as determined annually by ISKA Combat Sport Association.
• Promoter licenses are issued on an annual basis and are subject to renewal.
• Promoters must comply with all ISKA Combat Sport Association’s Rules & Regulations, policies, technical standards, medical requirements, and Safe Sport guidelines.
• Promoters must comply with ISKA World Headquarters rules and any additional requirements issued by ISKA Combat Sport Association.
• Promoters must comply with provincial and municipal regulations, including Athletic Commission requirements where applicable.
Failure to comply with ISKA Combat Sport Association’s rules, regulations, or licensing conditions may result in suspension, revocation of promoter status, or denial of event sanctioning.
No individual or organization may promote an ISKA event in Canada without active promoter registration and a valid ISKA Combat Sport Association’s promoter license.

SECTION 10: PROMOTER LICENSE FEE & RENEWAL

Promoter License Fee

• All promoters must pay an annual ISKA Combat Sport Association ‘s Promoter License Fee to be eligible to promote ISKA-sanctioned events in Canada.
• The promoter license fee is set annually by ISKA Combat Sport Association and is non-transferable.
• Payment of the promoter license fee does not guarantee event sanctioning; each event must still receive separate approval.

License Term & Renewal

• Promoter licenses are valid for one (1) calendar year from the date of approval.
• Licenses must be renewed annually to remain in good standing.
• Promoters with expired licenses may not promote, advertise, or host ISKA events until renewal is completed.
• ISKA Combat Sport Association reserves the right to deny renewal based on compliance history, safety violations, or failure to follow rules and regulations.

SECTION 11. ISKA COMBAT SPORT ASSOCIATION PROMOTER CODE OF CONDUCT

All ISKA Combat Sport Association ‘s licensed promoters are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and integrity.

By applying for promoter status, the applicant agrees to:

Act honestly, professionally, and ethically in all dealings with athletes, coaches, officials, and ISKA representatives.
• Prioritize athlete safety and medical welfare at all times.
Ensure all events are conducted in accordance with ISKA Combat Sport Association and ISKA World rules.
Provide a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment free from harassment, abuse, discrimination, or misconduct.
• Work cooperatively with ISKA Combat Sport Association ‘s officials, referees, judges, and medical personnel.
• Accurately represent event rules, divisions, and sanctioning status in all advertising and promotions.
Refrain from conduct that may bring ISKA Combat Sport Association or ISKA World into disrepute.

SECTION12. ALIGNMENT WITH BC ATHLETIC COMMISSION & REGULATORY AUTHORITIES

ISKA Combat Sport Association operates in coordination with applicable provincial and regulatory authorities, including Athletic Commissions.

All ISKA promoters acknowledge and agree that:

• Events held in jurisdictions requiring Athletic Commission oversight must comply fully with provincial regulations.
• Promoters are responsible for meeting all licensing, permitting, medical, insurance, and reporting requirements mandated by the relevant Athletic Commission.
• ISKA Combat Sport Association ‘s sanctioning does not replace Athletic Commission approval where required.
• Promoters must cooperate with ISKA Combat Sport Association and regulatory authorities during inspections, reviews, or investigations.
• Failure to meet regulatory requirements may result in event cancellation, loss of sanctioning, or promoter license suspension.
